Advocacy — noun: public support for or recommendation of a particular cause or policy.

athlete advocacy.

It all began with an idea. As a former football and business office student manager while in school at the University of South Florida, Corey gained an in-depth look at how college athletics worked on the field and in the front office.

While serving as Chief Legislative Aide to Florida Rep. Chip LaMarca, the sponsor of the 2020 Intercollegiate Athlete Bill of Rights, allowing collegiate athletes to profit off of their own name, image, and likeness, we ran a complete educational, informational, and communications based campaign in order to gain support and successfully pass SB 646 / HB 7051 in both the Florida Senate and Florida House.

The bill has been signed by Gov. DeSantis and is now Florida law.

CSC Group founder, Corey Staniscia, proudly serves on the Oversight Board for the National Collegiate Players Association (NCPA), the College Football Players Association (CFBPA), the Chairman of the Fowler Ave Collective at his alma mater USF, and continues advocating for athlete rights nationwide through AIM Sports.

AIM Sports is a boutique athlete business management firm uniquely positioned to serve not only brands, but also athletes. AIM represents brands in complex compliance issues surrounding the NCAA and state laws dealing with athlete’s rights of publicity (NIL). AIM U represents current and former athletes in all business matters surrounding rights of publicity and also with professional accounting and business services tailored to a collegiate or professional athlete’s needs.

Corey has been featured in Sports Center, ESPN, Sports Illustrated, 247 Sports, USA Today, Florida Trend, Sports Business Journal, Washington Post, The Athletic, NHL.com, The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, and other major media outlets as an expert in college athlete legislative policy and specifically rights of publicity including name, image, and likeness.
